It's gyne day again....
I get to wake up late, so not too bad. It was raining 'sunny' rain, old people used to say this kind of rain will make you sick if you can drenched by it (old wives tale)...

Gyne appointment first-
I didn't gain any weight, but luckily the baby is alright. I know I know... eat more... Its not that I am not eating or I am having diet, I just eat normal, eat when hungry, eat when I should.

I am experiencing more pain too. 1) From the movements of the baby, oh mine, he's getting bigger and my stomach is stretched to its almost fullest potential. Sometimes I can even see his elbow or buttocks or thighs edging my tummy... very amazing experience, but of cos, its not comfortable all the time. 2) From the contractions, they came like sharp pain. Sometimes short but sometimes longer. And painful... Doc says when the baby is due, the pain will come faster and longer and won't stop till the baby is delivered (OMG...!).

Then she did a check on me and she concluded that I may deliver earlier than the estimated delivery date. Hmm... I will skip my comment on this finding, cos I really don't know how I feel about this. Didn't feel particularly excited... maybe a bit disappointed?

Next, National Day Rally 2008
Let's talk about the much anticipated National Day Rally on Baby.
My most concerned topic is on Maternity leave and and Baby Bonus. Moms get to have 16 weeks (instead of 12) maternity leave and baby bonus of $4000 (instead of $3000) and other good stuff too... But the catch is, the new perks will only take effect in Jan 2009. I am only upset about the Baby Bonus cos that means we will only get the $3k as my baby will be born in Sept 2008, so most of the new perks will be, none of my business. Sobsob...
But then again, I am quite happy that I won't get to enjoy the 4 months maternity leave, cos I don't think I will ever get to enjoy 4 months of leave. I may even have problem trying to take the full 12 weeks. Now with so much going on in office (Doris's father-in-law sick, Linda may be having stones and me... getting more tired and grouchy and angry every single day, I don't know how much longer I can hold on. Maybe its not such a bad idea that my baby is arriving sooner than expected. Yes, maybe I should look on the bright side.

Aiya... I am having trouble with my blog... Tsk tsk, very lousy 'blogger'...
Haha... trying to explore more on blogging, luckily my darling is helping me out.

Today is Gyne Day, I finally put on some weight, and baby is weighing normal too. I weight at 51kg today. Dr Khi has been saying that I don't put on enough weight on the past consultations. Luckily all those gulping down on freshmilk has finally paid off... I know, I know, I am actually very lucky to be able to drink so much freshmilk... But try drinking it everyday without fail, you will feel sick at some point.
